Snitch Is Testing AI Try-On Mirrors in Its Stores With Flickd

Flickd has launched a beta pilot of its AI try-on mirrors in select stores of Indian menswear brand Snitch, where shoppers preview outfits on an avatar built from two photos. Fashion Value Chain reports that a wider rollout across Snitch's roughly 125 to 140 stores depends on the pilot results and is not confirmed.

TL;DR: Flickd has put AI try-on mirrors into select Snitch stores in India as a beta pilot. At the mirror, shoppers preview outfits on a digital avatar. A wider rollout isn't confirmed and depends on the pilot's results.

Last checked 4 Nov 2026 against Flickd's own pages, its co-founder's LinkedIn post and Fashion Value Chain's report. We haven't used the mirrors, so we can't say how the avatars look in person.

News, 4 November 2026. In some of its Indian stores, menswear brand Snitch is now testing AI try-on mirrors from Delhi-based fashion-tech company Flickd. On 28 October, Flickd co-founder Dheekshith Kumar announced on LinkedIn that "Flickd Mirrors are now live at SNITCH." According to a 3 November Fashion Value Chain report, the deployment is in beta and customers have responded well so far.

How the mirrors work

Fashion Value Chain says the mirrors let shoppers "preview outfits through a digital experience" while they're in the store. For more detail we went to Flickd's Smart Mirror page, which describes the product in general rather than the Snitch setup. There, a shopper uploads two photos once, and Flickd says the avatar is "ready in seconds." From then on, the store's catalogue appears on that avatar in a scrollable feed. Flickd says shoppers can check out right at the mirror. Looks can also go to a phone over WhatsApp via a QR scan. Voice shopping and a mirror that "talks back" are both marked beta.

Kumar's post sums it up as: "Walk up. Pick a look. See it on your avatar. Try another."

The same page names other brands it's live with, including Chique and The Bear House. Its LinkedIn page posted about mirror launches at Chique and The Bear House in October.

What happens next

Per Fashion Value Chain, the pilot will test customer engagement and how well the technology performs in a live store. Snitch runs about 125 to 140 stores across India, the report says. If results are good, the partnership could grow to more locations, but the report is clear that a wider rollout is "a possibility rather than a confirmed plan." We'd wait for the pilot results before reading much into it.

Flickd co-founder Sheetal Singh is quoted in the report: "What matters is how customers respond to it, whether they find it useful and whether it adds value to their shopping experience."

Trying outfits on before you get to the store

For us, it's another sign of AI try-on spreading in India, after Google's try-on in Search ChatGPT virtual try-on and Google Pay's Discover pilot. Still, a store mirror only helps once you're in that store, with that store's stock.

At home, TryAnyOutfit works from any outfit photo or screenshot, from any shop. You add a photo of yourself and the clothing image, and see the outfit on your real photo rather than an avatar. It runs in the iPhone and Android apps and the web Studio, with shared credits.

It isn't a fit or size tool. There's no free trial, but it's cheap to start: see pricing. Uploaded photos are auto-deleted after 72 hours unless you save them. For menswear ideas to try, see our men's outfit generator guide. To start from a shop page, see trying on clothes from a store screenshot.
