TryAnyOutfit (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application, website, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our Services.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture through our authentication providers. If you sign up via a social login (Google or Apple), we receive the profile information you have made available through that service.

Content You Provide

When you use our AI virtual try-on and image generation services, we collect:

• Photos you upload: Selfies, full-body photos, and outfit images you provide for virtual try-on processing.
• Generated outputs: The AI-generated images resulting from your try-on requests.
• Text prompts and instructions: Any optional styling instructions you provide (e.g., “Top only”, “Sleeves rolled up”).
• Wardrobe saves: Images you choose to save to your in-app wardrobe.

Payment Information

We store a customer identifier and transaction records (amounts, dates, subscription status, credit balance). Payments are processed by Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play), and RevenueCat. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or full payment information.

Usage Information

We collect information about how you interact with our Services, including:

• Features used (virtual try-on, face swap, custom edit)
• Categories browsed and searches performed
• Generation history and timestamps
• Subscription and credit usage

Device and Technical Information

We automatically collect your device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, and device identifiers when you access our Services.

Onboarding Preferences

During onboarding, we collect your style preference (women’s or men’s clothing) and optional avatar photos (selfie and full-body image) to personalise your experience. These are stored locally on your device and in your account profile.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide our Services: Process your images using our AI technology to deliver virtual try-on results.
• Process payments: Manage your subscriptions, credits, and one-time pack purchases.
• Personalise your experience: Show relevant outfit categories and suggestions based on your style preferences.
• Send service communications: Transaction confirmations, generation completion notifications, and product updates.
• Improve our Services: Analyse usage patterns to enhance features and fix issues.
• Detect fraud and abuse: Enforce our Terms of Use.
• Provide customer support: Respond to your inquiries and resolve issues.

What We Do NOT Do With Your Data

• We do NOT use your photos or generated images to train AI models. Your content is processed solely to fulfil your requests.
• We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.
• We do NOT share your photos with advertisers or marketing partners.
• We do NOT use facial recognition to identify you outside of the virtual try-on processing.

How We Share Your Information

We share your information only with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate our Services:

• ChatGPT and OpenAI plugin services: When you connect TryAnyOutfit to ChatGPT, OpenAI provides the images and instructions you choose to send to the plugin and receives the resulting image and limited status information needed to complete the conversation. OpenAI processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive unrelated conversation content.
• Authentication providers (Firebase Authentication): Receive your email, name, and profile information to manage your account and enable secure sign-in via Google, Apple, or email.
• Payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat): Receive purchase information necessary to process transactions and manage subscriptions. These providers act as independent data controllers for payment data.
• AI processing infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform): Your uploaded images and text prompts are processed on our cloud servers to generate virtual try-on results. Processing is transient — images are automatically deleted within 72 hours and are never used for AI model training.
• Cloud hosting and storage (Google Cloud, Firebase): Host and store your account data, generation history, and saved images on our behalf.
• Push notification services (Expo Push Notifications): Receive your device push token to deliver generation completion notifications.
• Analytics services: Unless you opt out, DataFast receives page visits, selected usage events, and technical signals to produce website statistics. We use its cookieless mode, which does not assign a long-lived visitor cookie.

We may also share your information:

• To comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or government requests.
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of TryAnyOutfit, our users, or the public.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Mobile Application

Our mobile application uses standard analytics for service improvement. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-app tracking within the mobile application.

Website

Our website (tryanyoutfit.com) uses:

• Essential cookies: Required for core functionality. These cannot be disabled.
• Cookieless analytics: We use DataFast to count visits and selected interactions so we can improve the site. It does not assign a long-lived visitor cookie. It may use session-only browser storage and a server-side identifier derived from IP address, browser information, our domain, and a salt that changes about once a day. We do not send your photos, name, email, or account ID in these website events. You can opt out without losing access to the site.

. We remember an opt-out in a preference cookie and browser storage. The earlier cookie-based DataFast tracker and our own visitor/session identifiers are no longer loaded. Existing analytics identifiers in your browser are removed when this page loads. Essential storage for sign-in, checkout, language, and your in-progress try-on still works. Cookieless measurement cannot reliably connect visits across multiple days, so long-term purchase attribution is less complete.

Data Retention

Uploaded images (including selfies, full-body photos, and outfit images) submitted for AI processing are automatically deleted from our servers within 72 hours of the generation request. Generated result images are also automatically deleted within 72 hours unless you save them to your wardrobe. Wardrobe saves remain until you delete them or your account.

Account Deletion

When you delete your account:

• We delete your profile information, uploaded photos, generated images, wardrobe saves, and generation history.
• We cancel your subscriptions where technically possible. Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play must be cancelled directly through the respective app store before account deletion.
• We make commercially reasonable efforts to remove your data from third-party services.
• Certain payment records may be retained as required by financial regulations.
• Cached or backed-up copies may persist for a limited time in accordance with our standard data retention practices.

Face Data

TryAnyOutfit processes user-provided photographs that may contain the user’s face solely to generate virtual try-on results. We want to be transparent about how face-containing photos are handled:

What we collect: When you use our virtual try-on feature, you voluntarily upload a selfie or full-body photo of yourself alongside an outfit reference image. The app never captures photos automatically or accesses your camera without your explicit action.

How we use it: Your photo is used for one purpose only — to generate a photorealistic composite image showing you wearing the selected outfit. We do not extract, compute, or store any biometric identifiers such as facial geometry, faceprints, or facial feature vectors. Your photos are processed as whole images, not as biometric data.

What we do NOT do: We do not use your face data for facial recognition, identification, or authentication. We do not build facial profiles. We do not use your photos to train or improve AI models. We do not share your photos with advertisers or data brokers.

Where it is processed and stored: Your photos are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections to our servers hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Photos are processed on our secure cloud infrastructure to generate the try-on result.

How long it is retained: Uploaded photos used for AI processing are automatically deleted from our servers within 72 hours of the generation request. Generated result images follow the same 72-hour limit unless you save them to your wardrobe; wardrobe saves remain until you delete them or delete your account entirely.

Your control: You may decline the photo processing consent prompt at any time, in which case no photos are uploaded. You can delete individual generations and wardrobe items from within the app, or delete your entire account from your profile settings, which permanently removes all associated photos and generated images.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption in transit: All communications use TLS/HTTPS encryption.
• Secure authentication: Managed through Firebase Authentication with industry-standard security practices.
• Access controls: Your data is scoped to your authenticated account and is not accessible to other users.
• Secure API keys: All sensitive API credentials are stored server-side and never exposed to client devices.
• Cloud infrastructure: Our backend runs on Google Cloud Platform, which maintains industry-leading security certifications.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users promptly in accordance with applicable law.

Your Rights

Access and Review

You can view your generation history, wardrobe, account information, and credit balance within the application at any time.

Deletion

You can delete individual generations and wardrobe items from within the app. You can also delete your entire account from your account settings.

Notification Preferences

You can manage push notification permissions through your device settings at any time.

Region-Specific Rights

• EEA, UK, and Swiss Users (GDPR): You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, request restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, request data portability, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
• California Users (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.

International Data Transfers

Your data is processed on infrastructure located in the United States (Google Cloud — us-central1). Our service providers may transfer and process data in other jurisdictions. Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
