TL;DR: Swiss styling app Mira Mirror has added a closet mode (Schrankmodus). According to the company, you photograph your clothes once, and the app suggests a full outfit each day from what you already own. Everything below comes from Mira Mirror's German press release and website. We haven't tested it, so we can't vouch for the results.

News, 4 November 2026. Mira Mirror, a styling app from MYSYMP AG in Nottwil near Lucerne, announced the closet mode in a German press release distributed on 3 November. The company pitches it as a fix for a full wardrobe and nothing to wear. Unlike classic shopping and styling apps, the release says, Mira "leads not to new consumption, but to what you already own" (translated from German).

How closet mode works, per Mira Mirror

You take one photo of each item. According to the release, the AI recognises what each piece is and its colours, and it can split a photo of a full outfit into separate pieces. Each morning Mira suggests an "outfit of the day" from your own wardrobe. It is matched to the occasion and to your personal colour palette. The palette comes from the app's photo-based colour analysis of your skin undertone and colour type.

Beyond outfits, the release lists extras. A "style signature" profile shows which pieces you actually wear, which colours dominate and which items never leave the closet. A "sale check" looks at whether something you plan to buy goes with what you own, and the company says it will advise against it if it doesn't. Virtual try-on lets you see new pieces "photorealistically on your own body" before buying, according to the release.

Here is founder Isidoro Celentano in the release: "The most sustainable fashion is already hanging in your closet. Mira finds it, and tells you with loving honesty what really suits you, instead of always selling something new." (Translated from German.)

On pricing, closet mode is part of the free Mira app for iPhone and Android, according to the release. Mira's pricing page lists Mira Plus at CHF 6.90 a month or CHF 59 a year, with a 7-day trial. That page also lists free-tier limits of 25 wardrobe items and 3 outfit suggestions a week (prices and limits checked 4 Nov 2026). The app comes in five languages, English among them. The release is labelled as AI-assisted content.

Where TryAnyOutfit fits

"Style me from my own closet" is a busy category this autumn. We compared options in Meta Style Sketch alternatives and the best AI wardrobe apps.

TryAnyOutfit has a planner too. You add outfits to a calendar, keep saved clothes in a digital wardrobe, and ask the AI stylist for ideas using clothes from your wardrobe. Its main job is try-on. You add your photo and any outfit image or screenshot, and see the outfit on your real photo, in the iPhone and Android apps or the web Studio, with shared credits.
