TL;DR: Vêtir said it has been awarded a patent covering its digital closet, along with the conversational styling model and wardrobe management platform around it. According to Just Style, the same announcement unveiled Vêtir Enterprise for luxury brands and a consumer Style Passport that carries your wardrobe from store to store. We haven't tested either product, so we can't vouch for how they work.

What Vêtir launched, per Just Style
Vêtir Enterprise is a licensable virtual try-on tool paired with a conversational AI stylist for luxury brands and retailers. Just Style says it is designed to sit on partner sites. CRM and analytics tools are tied to the shopping that follows.
The Style Passport is the shopper-facing piece. Just Style describes it as a portable profile. It holds your sizing and style preferences, plus a photorealistic avatar and a digital wardrobe, so personalisation can travel from store to store. Vêtir said you can chat with a stylist interface while shopping across stores, including by referencing items already in your closet.
Founder Kate Davidson Hudson, quoted in the article: "Your sizing, your taste, your closet, it now travels around the internet with you in the Vêtir style passport."
Vêtir said the patent goes further than a digital wardrobe idea. It covers a personalisation approach that combines learned shopper preferences with pre- and post-purchase intelligence systems and other external data.
Treat the performance figures as company claims, relayed by Just Style. We haven't audited them, and we can't treat them as independent fact. Vêtir said its personalised AI styling system has delivered an average 13% conversion rate and more than $2,600 in average order value on its own site, and that affiliate network Rakuten confirmed those results. Across retail partners, the company said its AI-powered chat-to-shop feature has driven an average 28% lift in AOV.
The launches follow a $5.5 million Series A earlier this year, according to the company. Just Style wrote that Vêtir was last valued at $150 million.
Why it matters
A closet that follows you into checkout sits in the same wave as wearfits.me, which starts from a store link, and closet apps that now try on pieces you haven't bought yet, such as Acloset's new wishlist try-on. Vêtir is pitching this at luxury retailers. More of the broader category is in our guides to the best AI wardrobe apps and virtual closet apps.
Where TryAnyOutfit fits
If you just want to see a piece from any store on yourself, you can do that in TryAnyOutfit without a retailer integration. Add your photo and any outfit image or screenshot, including a product photo from a shop, and see the outfit on your real photo. That works in the iPhone and Android apps or the web Studio, with shared credits.
