Short answer: Aesty is an iPhone-only AI stylist that tries screenshot outfits on an avatar, with Pro from $6.99 a week. Acloset is the closest all-round alternative and runs on Android too. Alta Daily is the free pick, and if you want a screenshot on your real photo rather than an avatar, use TryAnyOutfit or FitRoom.
Aesty packs a lot into one app. Screenshot a look from Instagram, TikTok or Pinterest, and it finds the pieces and dresses a personalized avatar in them. It also keeps your closet and plans outfits.
The catch is reach. There's no Android version, and we found no Aesty app on Google Play.
We make TryAnyOutfit, so we're one of the picks below. If you're weighing Aesty against us specifically, our TryAnyOutfit vs Aesty page goes feature by feature.

Aesty bundles a stylist with a closet and a try-on. Most alternatives are strong at one or two parts.
What Aesty includes, and what it costs
Aesty Labs released the app in July 2024. On the US App Store, it's listed as "Only for iPhone," needs iOS 18 or later, and also runs on Apple-silicon Macs and Vision Pro. It's rated 4.44 from 72 ratings. The last update shipped on September 13, 2026.
The feature list is long. Closet items get sorted and color-tagged automatically, with the background removed. An "Own items only" mode limits suggestions to what you have. You can generate outfits by occasion, plan them on a calendar and build moodboards. A chat helps you shop a look, and there's a color and style analysis.
We didn't find prices on aesty.ai, so the App Store list is the guide. Pro is listed at $6.99 to $9.99 a week, $14.99 or $19.99 a month, and $49.99 or $79.99 a year. Max costs $29.99 a month or $249.99 a year. Inviting a friend earns free try-ons, according to the latest release notes.

1. Acloset: the closest match on Android
If you liked Aesty's mix of stylist and closet, start here. Acloset has an AI stylist you chat with, plus a personal color and fit diagnosis. Its try-on builds an avatar from one full-body photo, and the Basic try-on tier comes with daily free uses.
The closet is free for up to 100 items. Paid tiers start at $3.99 a month for Basic, with Premium at $9.99 and Expert at $24.99; yearly Basic is $27.99. Even the top tier costs less per month than Aesty's Max plan. Rated 4.46 from 5,499 ratings, and it has a Google Play app. We list more in Acloset alternatives.
2. Alta Daily: if you don't want to pay
No in-app purchases are listed for Alta on the US App Store. You still get try-ons on an avatar that looks like you, and Alta builds outfits from your closet for any day or event. Tell it where you're traveling and it writes a packing list with a travel lookbook.
It's rated 4.89 from 17,920 ratings, far more than Aesty's 72. Unlike Aesty, it isn't tied to an iPhone: there's an Android app and a web version. See Alta Daily alternatives if it isn't quite right.
3. Fits: if the planner is what you use most
When you add clothes, Fits fills in the color and category for you, and often the brand. From there you plan outfits on a calendar, chat with an AI stylist or pin looks to mood boards, and it has a virtual try-on too.
Fits Pro is listed at $9.99, $29.99 or $59.99, and AI credits start at 5 for $1.99. Rated 4.59 from 5,731 ratings. Our TryAnyOutfit vs Fits page compares it with our app.

A saved look and the clothes it's made of. Aesty starts from the first; closet apps start from the second.
4. Whering: if you dress by the weather
Whering's planner suggests outfits from your wardrobe based on the weather. It also writes packing lists. Saving clothes is quick because you can pull images straight from retailer websites.
The app is free, with AI credits from 10 for $2.99 and an Outfit Maker for $4.99. Rated 4.67 from 12,018 ratings. More options sit in apps like Whering.
5. FitRoom: if you want try-on on your own photo
FitRoom skips the avatar. Upload an outfit image, then your own photo, and it changes the clothes in about 10 to 15 seconds. You can use a preset model instead if you'd rather not upload yourself.
Besides the phone apps there's a web version at fitroom.app. On the US App Store it's rated 4.59 from 257 ratings, with a weekly plan at $4.99 and yearly plans from $29.99. The Android listing shows ads, and FitRoom also sells an API to shops.
6. TryAnyOutfit: if you shop from screenshots
Aesty's best trick is screenshot try-on. We do that on your real photo instead of an avatar. Add a clear photo of yourself and any outfit image or screenshot, and you'll see the look on you.
There's a styling side too. The AI Closet Stylist builds outfit ideas only from pieces you own, and weekly planning puts looks on the days you'll wear them. Credits are shared between the iPhone and Android apps and the web studio.
Uploaded photos are auto-deleted after 72 hours unless you save them. There's no free trial, but it's cheap to start; see pricing. It previews a look. It won't measure fit or choose your size.

Ask for a look for a date night or a job interview, then try the result on your photo.
How to choose
On Android, Aesty isn't an option, so pick by what you'd have used it for. Acloset covers the stylist and color side best. Alta Daily is free and has the biggest following.
On iPhone, ask whether you mainly plan outfits or mainly try on new clothes. Planners like Fits and Whering are cheaper for the first. For the second, a photo of you beats an avatar, which is why we'd point you to TryAnyOutfit or FitRoom. Our best AI stylist apps guide covers more.
