# Stylebook Alternatives (Including Android Options)

Stylebook only runs on iPhone and iPad, and its makers say an Android version isn't planned for now. On Android, Indyx is the closest free match with cost-per-wear tracking; Fits suits collage lovers, GetWardrobe adds web and Mac, and Acloset or Alta Daily handle packing.

Short answer: Stylebook only runs on iPhone and iPad, and its makers say an Android version isn't planned for now. On Android, we'd start with Indyx: it's free and tracks cost-per-wear the way Stylebook does. Fits is the pick if you loved Stylebook's outfit collages, and GetWardrobe if you also want your closet on a computer.

Stylebook is a good app. It costs $4.99 once, keeps your closet on your device and in iCloud, and has been around since 2009. So why switch? Usually it's a new Android phone, a wish to use a laptop, or the fact that the app hasn't been updated since June 2025.

We make TryAnyOutfit, one of the apps below. It only appears in the section where it fits.

## What you'd be giving up

Stylebook's FAQ is clear on platforms. It is "only available for iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad". It doesn't run on Mac or Windows computers either. Asked about Android, the answer is "not at the moment". The company calls itself a small family business focused on iOS.

What it does well is worth listing before you move. You pay $4.99 once with no subscription. Your data sits on your device and in iCloud, and the company says it can't see your closet. It calculates cost-per-wear automatically, keeps style stats, shuffles outfits from your closet and builds packing lists by outfit. None of the Android apps below is a single one-time purchase. You trade that for a free tier with limits, or a subscription. If you're staying on iPhone, we think Stylebook is still a solid choice: 4.7 stars from about 8,900 ratings.

## Indyx: the closest free match

Indyx covers most of Stylebook's daily use for free. Items and outfits are unlimited. Log what you wear to a calendar and it works out cost-per-wear for you. You can sort the closet by number of wears or by cost-per-wear. Collections work as capsules or packing lists, and the closet is private by default. It runs on iPhone and Android. The paid Insider membership is $12.99 a month or $74.99 a year on the App Store. Ratings are 4.8 on iPhone and 4.4 on Google Play. Our [Indyx vs Stylebook](/blog/indyx-vs-stylebook) comparison goes through the two side by side.

## Fits: for collage lovers

If your favorite part of Stylebook is laying clothes out on a canvas, Fits is the nearest thing on Android. You can swipe through clothes or place them freely on a canvas, which its site compares to Polyvore. There's an outfit calendar and outfit mood boards. The app is free with unlimited items and background removal. Fits Pro is listed at $9.99, $29.99 and $59.99, and the listing doesn't name the billing periods. It holds 4.7 stars on Google Play and 4.6 on iPhone.

*Collage-style outfit building moves over to Android more easily than you'd think.*

## GetWardrobe: your closet on a computer too

This is the one to choose if you want to manage the closet on a bigger screen. Your closet syncs between the phone apps, a Mac app and a web app. It tracks cost-per-wear, plans outfits on a weather-aware calendar and makes packing lists. The free tier covers up to 100 items across all platforms. Premium removes the item limit and adds packing lists. It starts at $4.99 a month or $34.99 a year on the App Store. It's rated 4.3 on iPhone and 4.0 on Google Play.

## Acloset and Alta Daily: for travel

Stylebook's packing lists are a favorite with frequent travelers. Two Android apps handle trips well. Acloset has a packing feature for the outfits and items you're taking, an outfit calendar and cost-per-wear tracking; it's free for up to 100 items, with plans from $3.99 a month. Tell Alta Daily where you're going and how big your bag is, and it builds a packing list and a travel lookbook. You can share the list by link. Alta says it is free to use. Both are on Google Play with 4.5 stars.

## TryAnyOutfit: see the look on you

This is our app. It does something Stylebook doesn't: it puts an outfit image or store screenshot on your own photo, so you get a preview of the look before you buy. Saved looks go into a digital wardrobe with an outfit calendar, and the AI stylist suggests outfits from that wardrobe.

![TryAnyOutfit closet screen on iPhone with a week planner and saved looks in the digital wardrobe](https://storage.googleapis.com/tryanyoutfit.firebasestorage.app/blog-images/tryanyoutfit-planner-outfit-calendar-5b1439bb.webp)

*Saved looks and an outfit calendar in TryAnyOutfit.*

It runs on iPhone and Android, plus a [web studio](/tryon). There's no free render. Each try-on uses one credit, sold in one-time packs or a subscription; see [current plans](/#pricing). It isn't a full closet catalog like Stylebook, so pair it with one of the apps above.

A preview shows the look. It doesn't measure fit or choose a size, so check the retailer's size chart before you buy.

## Which Stylebook alternative should you pick?

For a free move to Android, go with Indyx. Pick Fits if collages are the point, or GetWardrobe if you want the closet on a laptop as well. Frequent travelers should look at Acloset or Alta Daily.
