TL;DR: Acloset's version 6.43.0 lets you try on wishlist items with clothes already in your closet, or try those wishlist pieces on their own. According to the company, you can do that before you buy. The notes went up this week, with no visible date on the page. We haven't tested the new screens, so we can't vouch for how the try-on looks.

**News, 5 November 2026.** In its version 6.43.0 notes, Acloset added Try-On for items you have saved but haven't bought. The notes name the shopper worry in plain words: whether a wanted buy will match clothes already owned. Then they walk through the new paths.

## How wishlist try-on works, per Acloset

In Try-On, a heart toggle shows your wishlist items so you can pair them with pieces already in the closet. You can also run Try-On on wishlist items alone. "Wish Outfit Recommendations" can be selected on the Try-On screen and tried on straight away. Combinations you put together in the Wishlist Fitting Room get a Try-On button at the bottom.

Recommended wish-outfit cards used to open a zoomed image only. Now they open an outfit details screen. A Try-On button there lets you try wishlist items together with clothes from your library. The notes close that first section with "See how it looks on you before heading to checkout!" They don't mention pricing. There are no user counts or platform details either. They just ask you to update to the latest version.

## Why it matters

The same pre-purchase worry is showing up across closet apps. [Mira Mirror's closet mode](/blog/mira-mirror-closet-mode) includes a "sale check" for whether a planned buy goes with what you own. [Meta Style Sketch](/blog/meta-style-sketch-alternatives) pointed the other way: generate a look, then shop it. Acloset is doing the owned-wardrobe version, on items you already hearted.

If you're weighing closet apps more broadly, we wrote [Acloset alternatives](/blog/acloset-alternatives) and [Acloset vs Whering](/blog/acloset-vs-whering). On the luxury retail side, [Vêtir described a Style Passport](/blog/vetir-style-passport) that would carry a digital wardrobe across stores. That write-up is based on Just Style's report, not a hands-on test.

## Where TryAnyOutfit fits

If you want to check a piece you haven't bought yet against your own photo, you don't have to wait for it to live in a wishlist. Add your photo and any outfit image or screenshot, including a product photo you saved, and see the outfit on your real photo. That works in the iPhone and Android apps or the web [Studio](/tryon), with shared credits.

If you already keep clothes in a digital wardrobe, you can try a new piece against those too. We compared more of this category in [the best AI wardrobe apps](/blog/best-ai-wardrobe-apps).
